Networking, WiFi & Structured Cabling

Every camera, door reader, TV, phone, and computer on your property depends on the cable and network behind it. When that foundation is messy or undersized, everything on top of it suffers. NeuraTech Security installs structured cabling, switching, and WiFi for apartment communities, commercial properties, and homes, from our base in Dallas and across Texas, the South, and the West Coast.

What We Install

  • Structured cabling for data drops, cameras, access control, wireless access points, and AV.
  • Network racks and cabinets with patch panels, cable management, and labeling.
  • Switching, including PoE switches to power cameras, access points, and door readers.
  • WiFi designed for coverage across offices, clubhouses, common areas, and homes.
  • Cable cleanup for network closets that have grown into a tangle over the years.

Cabling Done Right

Good cabling is planned before it’s pulled. We map out where every drop goes, size the runs, and route cable so it’s protected and serviceable. Every cable is terminated, tested, and labeled at both ends, and the patch panel matches. That makes moves, adds, and troubleshooting faster for years after the install.

WiFi That Covers the Whole Property

Weak spots usually come from access points in the wrong place or too few of them for how the space is used. We look at the layout, construction materials, and how many people and devices will connect, then place access points to match. For apartment communities, that includes clubhouses, leasing offices, fitness rooms, pool areas, and other common spaces.

Built to Support Your Other Systems

Because we also install security cameras, access control, and audio-visual systems, we design the network with all of them in mind. That means enough switch ports and PoE power for cameras and readers, separated traffic where it makes sense, and room to grow. You get one contractor responsible for how it all fits together.

For Apartment Communities, Businesses, and Homes

Apartment communities: amenity WiFi, office networks, and the cabling backbone for gates, cameras, and doors.

Businesses: office data drops, network closets, conference rooms, and WiFi for staff and guests.

Homes: wired drops for offices and TVs, better WiFi coverage, and a tidy central location for network equipment.

Network Closet Cleanup

If opening your network closet makes you nervous, you’re not alone. We can trace, label, re-patch, and organize existing cabling and equipment so it’s understandable again — and identify bad runs or failing gear while we’re at it.

Service and Upgrades

We troubleshoot and upgrade networks we didn’t install: slow WiFi, dropped connections, dead drops, or switches that are out of ports or out of date. We’ll tell you what’s worth fixing and what’s worth replacing.

FAQ

Do you only run cable, or do you set up the network equipment too?
Both. We install the cabling, racks, switches, and wireless access points.

Can you fix spotty WiFi?
Usually. Most coverage problems come from placement or capacity, and we can assess and correct both.

Will you label everything?
Yes. Every run is labeled at both ends and matched to the patch panel.

Can you clean up an existing network closet?
Yes. We organize, label, and re-patch existing closets and flag any problems we find.
