Access Control Systems for Doors, Gates & Amenity Spaces
Keys get copied, lost, and handed to people who shouldn’t have them. An access control system lets you decide who gets in, where, and when, and change that in minutes instead of calling a locksmith. NeuraTech Security designs, installs, and services access control for homes, businesses, and apartment communities from our base in Dallas, with work across Texas, the South, and the West Coast.
What We Install
- Keycard and fob readers for front doors, offices, suites, and back-of-house areas.
- Keypad entry for side doors, storage rooms, and spots where cards aren’t practical.
- Mobile credentials so residents, tenants, and staff can open doors from their phones.
- Gate entry and call boxes for parking lots, gated communities, and apartment properties.
- Amenity access for pools, gyms, clubhouses, and package rooms, with schedules that match your hours.
- Electric strikes, maglocks, and door hardware wired correctly with request-to-exit devices.
How a Project Works
1. Walkthrough. We look at every door and gate you want controlled, check the frames and hardware, and note where power and network are available.
2. Design and quote. You get a clear quote listing each opening, what goes on it, and what the system will do. No guessing about what’s included.
3. Installation. We run the cable, mount the readers and hardware, and terminate everything neatly. Wiring is labeled so the next person who opens a panel knows what they’re looking at.
4. Setup and handoff. We program users, groups, and schedules, test every door, and show your staff how to add and remove people.
Built for How You Use Your Property
An office needs different rules than an apartment community. A small business might want a few doors that lock automatically after hours. A property manager might need hundreds of residents, separate schedules for the pool and the gym, and a way to shut off a lost fob right away. A homeowner might just want a gate that opens from a phone and a keypad for the side door. We set up the system around those real needs rather than selling more hardware than you’ll use.
Working With Cameras and Networks
Access control works best when it’s tied into the rest of your low-voltage systems. Because we also install security cameras and networking and structured cabling, we can place a camera on each controlled entry, run the cabling once, and make sure the network can carry it all. One contractor means fewer handoffs and fewer gaps.
Service and Upgrades for Existing Systems
Already have an access system that’s acting up? We troubleshoot and repair systems we didn’t install, too: doors that won’t latch, readers that stopped responding, controllers that lost their programming, or software that needs to be updated or replaced. If your current system is outdated, we can tell you honestly whether it’s worth repairing or time to upgrade.
FAQ
Can you add access control to my existing doors?
Usually, yes. Most standard doors can take an electric strike or maglock. We check each frame and door during the walkthrough and tell you if anything needs to change.
What happens if the power goes out?
We plan for that during design. Depending on the door and how it needs to work, locks can be set to stay locked or to release, and battery backup can keep the system running for a period of time.
Can I manage users from my phone?
Many systems offer phone or web-based management. We’ll go over the options that fit your property during the quote.
Do you work on systems someone else installed?
Yes. We service, repair, and upgrade existing access control systems.
